"Waves of Phases," with its ethereal chimes and long, slow build-up, walks you down to the beach at 4 A.M., when the algae gives a phosphorescent glow just barely visible beyond the pier.And the climax three minutes in is an introspective climax, where something stunning about your life and place in the world occurs to you on that beach, never to be recalled in the morning.
